Bethany. I go to BYUI. I'm a nerd. I love comic books and absolutely anything Disney. I used to work at Disney World which made my Disney obsession increase. My favorite band is Alt-J. Yoga is my passion. I like to longboard, sing, hike, and just feel free. Life is beautiful. Embrace every moment.
I would love to be a princess. I’ve been to character auditions before and not only is it extremely competitive, but you have to be EXACTLY what they’re looking for at the time. Auditions are an overall character audition so they may only be looking for characters that are mouse height (any character under about 5’2).
For the audition, not only do you have to do well in the dancing and posing portion, but you also have to be the right height and have “the look”. Your facial features not only need to resemble the actual princesses, but the girls that they have as “friends” for the princesses already.
At my audition, there was about 50 of us cut at the same time and every single one of us was 5’5 to 5’7. They kept anybody taller or shorter, but not one person in my height range went on to the next few rounds.
But I would love to audition again! That was honestly the most fun I’ve had at an audition. And I still want to be a princess, I haven’t given up yet! And even though I didn’t get a roll, I still got to work at Disney World and that was the best experience I’ve ever had.
